During those few months when we were all stuck at home, I tried to get outside as much as possible to take photos of whatever interesting thing that I could find. My favorite day was May 3rd, when I stumbled upon an Emu farm out in the middle of nowhere.
I had a really great time photographing the Emus. At first when I approached the fence they all moved away from me, but once I had stood there for a while, they started to follow me along the fence which allowed me to get some great close-ups.
I also had fun editing the photos in monochrome, which I think had the cool effect of bringing out the texture of their feathers and the color of their eyes.
Bonus! A Disney-level majestic white horse living in the field next to the emus.
